Relative humidity testing has been the standard procedure for over 20 years in Europe and is now rapidly becoming the standard here in the United States. Most flooring installations can endure no more then 80% relative humidity in the concrete. A reduction in water vapor transmission (WVT) is indicative of RH reduction.
